Just heard the sad news today of the tragic death of Amy Winehouse. Her talented life always seemed destined to end early, but it doesn’t make it any easier for her family and friends or the people who loved her music – thank you for the songs Amy. As a mark of respect “The Horse You’ve Gotta Ride”, a song whose concept was inspired by Amy Winehouse and the price she and others were paying for their art, is now a permanent free download as my tribute to her. It no longer seems right to profit from a song she inspired, so it will always remain a free download for anyone wishing to remember her. Amy, may you rest in peace x
